Established Shikoku Kaken (Shanghai ) Co Ltd and SK Kaken (Thailand) Co Ltd. Established Seoul Office. All offices in Japan accredited with ISO 9001 (Headquarter, Sales Offices, and branches).

Completed the second stage of construction of Kyusyu Factory. Fukuoka Office and her distribution center were shifted. The company celebrated her 40th anniversary.
