Company Introduction
As
we move into the 21st century, at SK Kaken Co.,
Ltd, we believe that our role is to help create
a better architectural culture. To this end, we
are realizing a number of themes, while broadening
our line up of total building paints and coatings.
Founded in 1955 as Shikoku Kagaku Kenkyusho,
from its very earliest days SK Kaken had an entrepreneurial
spirit of ";making something out of nothing".
After building the foundation of the company in
our inaugural decade, we subsequently expanded
our operations as Shikoku Kaken Kogyo K.K., with
the aim of becoming a first class building paints
and coatings manufacturer. Since renaming ourselves
SK Kaken Co., Ltd in April 1991, we have estabished
a standpoint as a leading company in the business
field of architectural paints and coatings. And
also, in 1993, we expanded our business and the
company's shares are traded on JASDAQ market (equity
market).
Today, as a global total chemical paints and
coatings, architectural material manufacturer,
promoting a high technological development, we
desire to contribute to creating architectural
culture for development of architects in Japan
and Megalo Asia more than ever.
